Makes great curls. It does not allow you to select a temperature but that has not been an issue.

As others mentioned it is very hot and a very short end that makes it easy to burn yourself. It works curl wise just fine. You need a heat glove or very good skill so as not to burn yourself. It would not be the best curling iron for many.

Handle is fine, but the other end is hot, so it is difficult to handle with only one hand.

Less than one star!!! Worthless item. It was obvious upon opening that this was a returnd item!! Taiff is on or off. No temp choices. It got stuck in my clean short hair. Do not buy!

Wasn't what I'd hoped. Pulled my hair a little. Didn't curl that well. Only one heat setting, so I was worried it would be too hot. Maybe not quite hot enough. I'm still searching for a 3/4" iron that the clip part doesn't feel too light. My 1" is heavier and works so much better. I've tried several 3/4 and haven't come up with anything similar yet. Thought from the reviews this might be the one.
