Produto excelente!
A bateria dura bastante tempo. Agora para pessoas menos cuidadosas aconselho buscar um controle de construção mais robusta o que certamente sairá mais caro. Esse aqui não creio que aguenta mãos muito pesadas. No geral é um bom custo vs benefício.
Excelente custo benefício
My original xbox controller had finally bit the dust. Buttons were sticking or not working at all, which made it difficult to play my game. I'll admit I was too cheap to spend $50 on a new one, so I opted for this one. Learn from my mistake!! Right out of the box, I had some issues with it. There is a grouping of 4 lights on the top, presumably to tell you when the charge is getting low, but when I tell you they are bright, I mean it could give my iPhone light a run for its money. I had to keep tilting it downward and away from me, which was causing wrist fatigue. If that had been the only issue, a little electrical tape would fix it. Alas, that was the least of my problems. It charges overnight or whenever I'm doing something else, so it was always charged. And yet, it constantly turned itself off, even during fights when buttons were being used. I'd be happily hacking and slashing away, and then nothing was happening. I'd look down and the controller would be off. No reason. I didn't accidentally hit it or anything. I've had it just over a month and the USB cable no longer clicks in. It's like the port got pushed down and so to charge the controller, I have to wedge it between something and then jiggle the cord until it starts blinking to tell me its charging. If I forget, then it's not charged and won't even turn on. But the thing that irks me the most is that one of the joysticks is way more sensitive than the other. So the side that controls direction is more sensitive (faster) than the side that controls the camera (or what you're looking at), which means that my character is FOREVER running into walls, and people, and random objects because the camera isn't following at the same speed. I have absolutely nothing positive to say about this controller. Anyone seen the movie Office Space? I feel like taking it out into a field and destroying it with a baseball bat. So children, the moral of the story is, don't be a cheap screw! Spend the extra $20 bucks to get the authentic one. Now I'm out $30 and still need a working controller. *Sigh* I know better, and yet here I am, SMH.
Cost effective and works great! For a few days then it's garbage. I bought this to have a cheaper option on replacing the 2nd xbox brand remote my kids broke. It had mixed reviews, but many positive and same day shipping. The price and same day shipping were the biggest seelling points. The Xbox brand controllers lasted several months with whatever abuse was gave to them. This one lasted 2 or 3 days. I'm sure it was dropped by my kids and/or whatever else they subjected it to. The Xbox brand controllers cost more but last us several months compared to a few days. In the long run they are FAR cheaper! I went to Walmart (cause we "needed" a controller asap.) I got the protection plan also that covers accidental spills, drops, so on, for only $5 more! It might be a hassle to use it and process a claim, but I FULLY expect to be using that warranty at some point. Even if they refuse to take care of it cause of some fine print technical detail or something it's only $5. I asked what it covered and was assured all accidental breaks were covered as well as wear and tear, software or hardware malfunctions, manufactures or shipping issues, and so on. Figured that's the best bet on a warranty I've seen so far.
I was a little concerned reading other reviews. I use it to play games on the PC and it works great. It hooked up easy, straight out of the box. You really don't need instructions. Yes it doesn't have a removable battery pack. Or headphone jack. But I never swap batteries and if I want to use headphones I'll use the computer jack. For close to half the price, it really is worth it.
